ARTIST STATEMENT

T3D Studios was commissioned by JAWS Architects and The Department of Health to create a more harmonious experience for the building users. During the redevelopment we worked closely with the team to create a landmark presence whilst incorporating a calming and welcoming experience within the new clinic.

 

The breast screening clinic is a life saver and the more people that become aware of the satellite clinic the more lives will be saved. ​The work heralds Tasmania's local plant life and it's diversity through the integration of window decals, external signage, and vinyl wall decals. A push through signage technique was created for the facade and internal rooms.The refurbishment and clever architecture has been used to soften the clinical environment, along with T3D Studios wayfinding to enhance the experience for the clients.
